Below are a few stories from real moments I’ve been invited to capture. Explore the galleries and imagine how your own story might unfold.

Yuka and Elliot’s wedding day unfolded beautifully. When they stepped away for a quiet moment together, the joy and anticipation between them was unmistakable. As they wandered through the bush towards the ocean, laughing together and even pausing for a quick sushi break, I quietly captured the moments as they naturally unfolded.

James first reached out over Instagram with a plan to surprise Bethany with a proposal by the ocean. Hidden nearby so the moment would remain a secret, I waited quietly among a few kind strangers who helped me blend into the background. When he finally asked the question, it felt like something from a film, a quiet and beautiful moment between two people deeply in love.

Jess and Ryan invited me into their home to capture the small, joyful moments with their newest addition. Full of curiosity, he explored the room, pulling down his favourite books before settling in with the Pink Flamingo book. The session unfolded with a mix of quiet moments and playful chaos, a reminder that every little one brings their own personality to the day.

Georgia was positively glowing, radiating joy as she prepared for motherhood. We met at an old ocean quarry in Kiama, where the waves crashed below, and the grass grew wild as she and Hugh stood together laughing and taking in the view. As the sun began to set, the changing light created both soft golden moments and more dramatic, moody scenes as Hugh gently guided Georgia across the rocks and through the long grass.

Sheila was one of my first graduate clients. Her session took place a little while after the graduation ceremony, which meant we could photograph the moment away from the usual crowds. Surrounded by close friends and family beneath the green escarpment trees of the University of Wollongong, the golden light filtered through as I captured a relaxed and joyful session she can look back on.
