My approach is centred around storytelling. I focus on capturing the genuine moments of the day as they naturally unfold, the laughter with friends, quiet moments together, the emotion during the ceremony, and the small details that make the day uniquely yours.
I approach the day in a calm and observant way, documenting moments as they happen rather than directing everything. When guidance is helpful, such as during portraits or family photos, I will gently guide you so things feel relaxed and natural.
I help guide where the photography best fits within your timeline, ensuring there is enough time for important moments while still allowing the day to feel relaxed and unhurried.
I offer a range of coverage options depending on the needs of your day. Some couples prefer shorter coverage, while others choose photography from preparations through to the reception.
Most couples say this before their wedding, and that is completely normal. I will gently guide you when needed, but much of the day is photographed in a documentary style, capturing real moments rather than relying on stiff posing.
A little rain rarely stops a wedding day from being beautiful. Often it creates a softer atmosphere and unique photographs. At the end of the day, what truly matters is the joy of the occasion and the connections between you and the people around you. If needed we can adjust locations or timing slightly, and I always come prepared with ideas so the day continues smoothly. Rain can even make for some especially romantic and memorable photographs.
Of course. If your pet is part of the celebration I would be delighted to include them in some of the photos. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan for it and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Absolutely. Before the wedding I will ask you for a short list of important family groupings so we can capture them efficiently and make sure no one important is missed.
Yes. I photograph weddings across the Illawarra, Sydney, and surrounding regions. If your wedding is further away, feel free to get in touch and we can discuss the details.
Yes. Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to capture this season before the wedding and can also help couples feel more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
